Business is challenging. Anything worthwhile is. But it doesn't have to feel so damn hard. That is from weeks, months, years out of alignment with your strengths.

Hiring a new employee can take anywhere from four weeks to three months in our experience. 

A lot of the time variance depends on how much you already have put in place (i.e. have you ever hired before, is this an employee or a contractor, the scope of the role, etc.). 

If you've never hired before and you want to cover all the steps in the hiring checklist, plan to spend about two to three months on this. This time is absolutely well worth it so resist the urge to rush!
